Most potential companions can be found in taverns and inns. In Mount and Blade 2 Bannerlord, companions can always be found in inns. There needs to be some quality of life improvements for companions being sent out on their own. First, they get captured too often. There needs to be a way to control how aggressive they are or maybe there is something wrong with the way battles are resolved (e.g. looter auto-resolve bogginess affecting companion fights).
